Fruit. Eat it.

 Short and sweet tip of the day!


I'm not going to tell you that you have to eat carbs (even though I think you should). I'm going to tell you that if you are cutting carbs please make sure that the carbs you are eating are the best nutrient packed carbs you can get. 


Please stop with the chicken wings and cheese diet because it's low carb. Drinking low carb beer because it's only got 2.6 grams of carbs or wasting your carbs on BBQ sauce and low carb protein bars. Please stop, now!


Get your carbs from foods that will provide the vitamins and minerals that your body so desperately needs and craves. You NEED these foods to help with many vital bodily functions, including your mental health. You need them to help you focus, stay motivated and to nourish your body. 


Fruit also has fiber that is so desperately needed on a low carb diet. Let's face it, your bowels need to move and what better way to achieve that than naturally? Stop with the organic teas and the laxatives that make you feel like you are birthing an alien. Eat an apple and let the fiber kick in!
